Delivery & Fulfillment Policy

This Delivery & Fulfillment Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the processing, shipping, and fulfillment of orders placed on the Farmer Harvest platform. By using our services, buyers and sellers agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed by the respective Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Cooperatives, or Producer Groups registered on the platform.
  • Sellers are responsible for confirming order acceptance within 24 hours of placement.
  • Buyers will receive confirmation notifications via email and/or SMS once their order is accepted.

2. Delivery Timelines

  • Hyperlocal Orders: Delivered within 1–5 business days depending on seller location and logistics.
  • Regional & National Orders: May take 5–15 business days beyond the seller’s area.
  • Bulk & Institutional Orders: Special arrangements will be communicated directly to buyers.

3. Shipping & Logistics

  • Sellers ensure proper packaging and timely dispatch.
  • Logistics may be handled by third-party couriers or directly by sellers.
  • Shipping charges (if any) will appear at checkout.
  • Tracking details (if available) will be shared with buyers.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate delivery details when placing the order.
  • Be available to receive or authorize someone for delivery.
  • Incorrect addresses or missed deliveries may result in extra charges.

5. Order Fulfillment & Delays

  • Delays due to weather, strikes, or logistics will be communicated to the buyer.
  • Updated delivery estimates will be provided in case of delay.
  • Non-fulfillment by seller entitles the buyer to a refund as per the Return & Refund Policy.

6. International & Long-Distance Orders

  • Additional customs or delivery time may apply for orders outside seller's local area.
  • International orders are subject to duties, taxes, and local regulations.

7. Order Cancellation

  • Buyers can cancel orders before they are processed and dispatched.
  • No cancellations allowed after the order is shipped.
  • Sellers may cancel due to unforeseen reasons; buyers will be notified and refunded accordingly.
